I just bought a factory clock that works off of ebay, I was told that it would be a simple job but I probably should have asked this question before dropping $50 for one. The one I bought has the connectors that look like they should just plug into something in the dash, So I am wondering what exactly is this going to entail simply taking the block off plate thing off and screwing in the clock and connecting the plugs or a major project. Also a quick side question my truck's windshield wipers don't appear to be working it is an 87 and they only go one speed and they turn off wherever you turn them off in the middle of the window or on the top of their travel. I assume this is incorrect as my 84 Fiero which has the same markings works like all other GM ones I have used, do I need a new motor or is a relay or something bad.

You will have one power wire to the fuse box and the black goes to ground on the side of the cowl, you will see it when the dash is out. The hardest part of the job will be drilling the hole for the time adjust knob exactly where you need it.

Excellent that was what I was hoping to hear. The Previous Owner took a bunch of the interior trim out of a silverado and put it on so it is one step closer to being a High Sierra...now I need to fix that hanging headliner.

I married an 84 gauge cluster with my 75 gauge cluster and put the clock where the brake light was with voltmeter, temp, mechanical oil guage, and the 100mph speedometer. Cut nubbs off 84 housing to glue clock mounting points onto my 75 housing.
