Title: carb size?
Post by: olblue2 on November 25, 2010, 11:03:21 pm: what would be the best size replacement carb for an 1984 chevy k-30 with 454 with mild cam and headers? im thinking maybe a 750cfm edelbrock???? any suggestions?

it has a wore out quadrajet on it now. not caring about gas milage. just one thats headache free and easy to maintain. i think it has a stock intake on it

would love to fuel inject it but cant seem to justify spendin near $3000 for the kit :(

To not need an adapter you could get this but you may need a spacer to clear everything:

The edelbrock I know would require you to cut the fuel line and install a rubber line and install a fuel filter.
