Title: 1983 2500 Engine swap help.

My sons 2500 has a inline six (292) with a 4 speed tranny. We want to put a 350 V8 in it. Will this work and what do we need as far as motor mounts etc? The 6 took a deep six so we want to change motors because we are having a hard time finding another 292. Is this swap possible?

Yes it is possible, just get V8 engine mounts or if you get a donor out of a truck get the frame and engine mounts with it.
