I never heard the term before coming to this site. What are they?

R10 is the same as a C10, Chevrolet switched the letters because of something having to do with the new body style. In 1987, they were called Rs and Vs instead of the usual Cs and Ks. R10 meaning 2wd, V10 meaning 4wd. I'm not exactly sure how the story goes, but that's not the important part.

Yes the 88 body style was going to take over the C/K designation. The 81 up body style continued its run from 1987 to 1991 as R/V

Thanks!

V10 meaning 4wd
Oh, I've been looking for a 350 V10 to throw in my truck after hearing of a 5.7 V10---all I could find were 350 V8's. No wonder I kept getting weird stares.
