Title: 73-80 Style Frontend on an 81 c10

I was wondering if the 73-80 style front end would fit on an 81 style body? Would it work with my 81 fenders, or would I need different fenders? Just looking at it, it looks like I would need a new front grill assembly and hood, but I'm not sure about the fenders. If I had to replace the fenders, would they line up with my doors?

From the doors forward, 73-80 and 81-87 are one or the other. The parts don't mix and match. You can put the 73-80 front clip on the 81 up cab with a few slight modifications.

Also be aware that your going to need to use shorter windshield wiper arm mecanism under the cowl to the 73-80 nose as its shorter to compisate from the 81 n up cowl panel.But like vile said it will be a simple swap.Also plug off the holes on the cowl for where the 81 n up hood hinges were once as well as the holes where the cowl panel on your 81 sat in as well..
