Title: Vinyl floor install
Post by: GUITAR1989 on December 05, 2010, 04:11:09 pm
Hey guys :D I got a vinyl floor and im wondering what the best way is to get it to fit well. Ive been using a hair dryer to make it more plyable. The only area that im having trouble with is the sides of gas tank humps next to the doors. Do you guys have any suggestions on how i can get this stubborn spot to lay down on the side of the humps? It kinda seems like theres to much material on the front right cornor of the hump. If I get it to lay down snug on that cornor it pops up the material on the side of the hump. Am i gonna have to cut it to get it to lay snug? Id really rather not cut it if theres another way.                           (http://i51.tinypic.com/2ni0go0.jpg)

Yea you'll need to cut it a little bit, your door sills should cover it though.

Tuck it behind the door sill plates.

It doesn't go all the way up, it goes a couple inches up.  does yours have the rear ones?
