Can I see some pics of trucks with fog lights hanging from the 2 holes in the bottom of the bumper.
Like This: These are "Hella 550" lights

That's what I'm leaning towards of as of now. They're Really nice lights and I've had a bunch of them in the past. So they're my first choice. unless somebody comes up with something I like better. ;D
Also What do yall think, Should I get the ones with the yellow or clear lenses?

Amber lenses will produce less glare.

Is this available for 81-87? I didnt see it
-
Iti is only for certain year trucks, but can be adapted with the right bumper brackets...
-
I'm still not sure if I like the bumpers with fog lights or not. I was looking at those when I bought my bumper but I didn't get one as I wasnt sure of it.
-
I would prefer them above the bumper in front of the grill, rather than hanging below, but then again my favorite winter sport is crashing into snowbanks with my truck ;D
I have the 82 bumper on mine and was thinking about moving the turn signals up behind the grille and using the stock signal holes to mount a set of lights like you posted. If that would work on your truck it would give a more original look to it and accomplish the same thing.

Unfortunately no.

I have been contemplating putting some of the thin 1"x4" rectangular lights on my lower control arms, that way they are protected, yet low enough to pass under any batch of fog so I can see.

Until you hit bumps and the arms go up and down...Then you'll have strobes...

Since they are under the vehicle it won't bother me. ;D

fog lights work best if they are below the bumper, but it makes them more easily damaged if you drive in the winter or off road. here is a shot of our 85 k10 turbo diesel

I bought the Hella 550's today like in the pic of my white truck.

My mom said the same thing, you'll knock em off under the bumper... :D I broke lots of em off that white truck, but it was always playing in mud or in the woods or whatever. Since this truck won't be doing that stuff, and it sits higher, I think it'll be ok. Ima try it. if it gets broke, well they make more lights.... ;) And I'm debating buying an old chevy 4x4 beater for mud and yard work anyway.
I've been debating a rollbar (lightbar) like the white truck has. I miss that thing. i thought it looked cool, and there were HIGH tie-downs for big stuff. plus there were places to hang on when people rode in the back. I'm just not sure it would fit the truck i have now, the way i have it set up. I still miss it though 8)
