I never liked the dash in these trucks so I made my own. In hind sight I would of made it from steel not aluminum so I could weld on it. The leather seats are out of some Jaguar. found paint to match them at Lowes. Bout done with the center console.

Looks awesome, cant wait to see the finished product!

Wow..definately following this. Have more detailed pics of the dash?

Looks good!

Here are a few more.

Thats very cool. Its nice to see someone do something truly different. Does it just fit over the stock steel dash structure or did you remove/modify it?
Where are you putting the heater controls, stereo, glove box, etc?
I will be very interested in the finished product, keep up the good work.

I cut out the old steel dash leaving a lip at the windshield/firewall to fasten the new dash to. I welded in a cross member along where the bottom of the new dash will mount. I will not have a glove box. Have plenty of room in the center console. I just have a simple heater so I will rig up a push/pull knob to actuate the cable on the heater box. It will be mounted on the right of the stereo on the center console.

Very clever. Nice looking too.

Man that is just ridiculous! Great work! I've seriously been thinking bout getting someone to do something similar with mine. Take all the stock stuff out, make an entirely new dash, basically, do the exact thing you just did to yours.
Great craftwork, kudos man. You got skills

You're truck is gonna be somethin' nice bro. The outside looks good, you're hookin' up the interior, and it hauls a** too. Nice work man. I like the way it's coming along.

Thanks man. Can't wait to get home and back to work on her. Going to teach the wife how to cut'n'buff since she wanted to quit her job so bad. LOL

Haha...put the wife to work on the rig. My wife helps me out on my truck a lot. She did all my braided gas lines/fitting, helped me install my posi, and she installed my dzus fasteners in my hood for me.
