Try www.airbagit.com I'm pretty sure they're cheaper for our trucks. I've never heard of that company. Also, I think Capt carries McGaughy's in the catalog, made in USA and the best drop spindle on the market IMO
-
thanks, I dont see a 3 in drop spindle for the 1.25 in rotors on there. I was wondering about the mcgaughy's i know their rear flip and c notch looks nice
-
I think I am going to get the djm's from summit. seems like the best deal for 3 in drop spindles thanks for the imput!
-
Djm makes a good spindle too, they'll treat ya nice
-
I have the belltech spindles. No complaints
-
I have the CPP modular but they are a little pricey. But they don't push the wheel out an inch like most do.
-
I have mcgaughys, honestly they rusted in like a week of not driving, and they hit on the inside of my stock 15's and a set of 17 inch impala ss wheels. I'd go with someone else?
-
I have the Belltech spindles, and I had to grind a ton of material off of them to get stock 15" Rallyes to fit without rubbing. I had the McGaughey's 1" shorter springs but they were way too soft and the truck drove terrible. I put stock springs back in and it drives great but I lost the look I wanted, now it's a little high in the front.
-
I am going to run the 8 in rally's too so I expect to have to do some grinding. I am ordering the djm's and probably going to cut 1 coil off the stock springs. I have 1 1/4 rotors (HD) are the spings any different then the trucks with the 1 in rotors? DOes anyone know how much to cut to get 2 more inches lower? I should prolly start a new thread huh.
-
I don't believe there is any difference in the springs as far as heighth, I would start with seeing where the truck sits with the spindles and go from there. A full coil should be about 2" or so. Here's a pic of mine now, on a level surface it almost sits up in the front. I put a little smaller tire on front to help the look. Shackles and hangers, 2-1/2" drop spindles. I drive this truck everyday and it rides like it hasn't been lowered at all.
-
looks good! I want mine just a little lower though. whats size tires are you running? the whole combo looks perfect!

275/60-15 on the back and 255/60-15 on the front. I don't really like the look on the front (they just look too small) and will probably put 275's on the front. I agree I like em lower also but I tow a pontoon boat from storage to the water, and like I said drive it every day so I'm going to keep this one here for now. Thanks for the compliment now if I could just get some paint on it. Good luck with yours can't wait to see it.

I will get some pics up soon. pretty much starting with just a frame. the truck was free and a big pile of junk. I am just trying to piece it together as time and money allows
