hey guys these are my trucks just thought id show you guys what i do own and have owned
1. the orange GMC is a 79 with a 9 inch 17/40r15 gumbo monster mudders 4:56 front and rear 350sbc 4spd
2. the black is an 81 scottsdale bone stock xcept a 400sbc that i rebuilt in high school and the 33 inch goodyear wrangler mt/r's (sadly it only lasted 6 months stupid kid t boned me and tottaled it out and i didnt have the money or the space to fix it so had to gt rid of it)

Nice truck(s). Insurance didnt cover it?

well it want my fault and i didnt have insurance at the time (unemployed and truck sat for 3 months with blown head gasket) so the day i got the top end reasembled was driving home to park it and get insurance the next day a kid ran the stop sign and t boned me then when i had it towed didnt have money to have the tow company take it to my house and i live on a one way street so i couldnt have a wrecked vehicle in front of my house unless you could move it outta the way but as result of the wreck it destroyed my passanger rear leaf spring and shattered the slip yoke on the drive line the tuck wouldnt roll or drive so it got towed to there yard and they wouldn let me have anything off the truck that was physically bolted to it unless i had something to swap it out with so as result i lost my 400sbc with a spun bearing (happend when i got hit truck spun andthrew me against the door and m foot slammed down on he go fast pedal and the tach hit 6 grand):(

That really sucks. That 81 looks like it was an awesome rig, and it reminds me of my 82. You weren't able to keep the tires or anything?

oh man it was a great rig the body wasnt perfect but it was all there and still holding together an no i couldnt keep the tires or my satin black rims which i spent a month powder coating because i didnt have other rims an tires to put on it
