Title: getting ready for paint????
Post by: project85 on January 06, 2011, 07:21:42 pm
so my 85 1/2 ton stepside is getting ready for paint. i wanna paint it yellow with some orange flake in it. i am putting a rear roll pan on and now i'm not sure if i should paint the front bumper or buy a new chromed one. then if i have the chrome i think i should have the grille and head light bezels be chrome. if i paint the bumper i'm thinking of having a black grille and bezels.

does anyone have anypictures or ideas that might help me make up my mind as to how i should do the bumper/grille.

thanks

Chrome matches anything and so does black. I've always ben a fan of black against yellow. Shades of grey works well too...

If I blacked out the grille and bezels should I leave the bumper chrome or should I paint it the color of the truck? I can't picture how it will look.
