What is the easiest way to stop rust and repair it at home. (no welder) I have rust around the rear side windows (Suburban) and on the the A pillar. Is there some special Bondo product I could use? Thanks Steve

You need to remove the rust and are we talking rot? Pix?
-
Yes I guess you could say rot. Will post pics later. Thanks

Nasty rust

Take the glass out and start wire wheeling to see how bad it is.
-
Will do!!
-
If the rust has eaten to much of the metal to support the window you will have to replace the metal.

Does anyone sell patch panels?
-
Just remove the rust and see what you've got. If you need a patch panel either make one or post a wanted to buy in the classifieds and someone with a parts truck should be able to help you out but it doesn't look that bad from the pix. You won't know until you expose what's there.

Sounds good thanks !!

Don't be surprised if its more than it look like now, Rust is like an Iceberg. alot more under the surface than on top.
