This weekend I picked up a dual tank shortbed for my '80 from a craigslist seller in Pittsburgh. It is a great bed and Doug was a great guy to deal with. All of his sheetmetal comes from California so it is not rotted out like it is on the east coast. I felt like I should pass this info since we in the Northeast are limited in what we have available. The best way to search for what he has for sale is to go to Craigslist Pittsburgh auto parts and search for "from California". I am not in business with him, in case anyone asks, just amazed that I could get a rust free shortbed for $1K.

You would make some good $$.
This parts Blazer I bought was running/driving/registered when I got it. You can't believe how bad some of the junk is around here.

I went and looked a a blazer a couple months ago. Drove 45 minutes to go see it and even before the guy assured me it had no rust. Got there with every intention on bringing it home but wow what an idiot. The floors looked worse that what fitz pictured and the whole thing was like that, I specifically asked the condition of the floors he said great shape. All he expressed when I got there was he was so proud it didn't have any exhaust leaks. It actually had the next gauge higher than aluminum foil under the drivers seat. Pure junk and he wanted $2800.00 for it.

Just a suggestion, I run across deals all the time, if you are looking for something specific, pm me and I'll see what I can do.

I know where there's a 77 and a 78, both need some help, been sitting for years which is why I haven't got my hands on them.
Shipping would be the real killer
