are there 2 types of CK-20 PICKUP TRUCKS in 82? light and hevy duty?

First of all C-20 is 2 wheel drive and K-20 is 4 wheel drive.  Some are heavier duty than others based on the rating/braking systems.  Diesels and 454's in 82 have the 14 bolt full floater.  If your sticker is still on the glove box door or your cab it should tell you.  I am sure others can clarify further.

     The vin # on the truck can also clarify what came with the truck.
