Title: Rear Disc Swaps
Post by: slammed79 on February 05, 2011, 01:19:59 pm
With all these recent discussions about rear disc swaps, I find myself with some questions, prolly dumb ones, but I've never dug too deep into this.

1. The M/C, would this need to be swapped for a one with factory discs, ie vette or eldarado?

2. Is a adjustable proportioning valve necessary?  Would a factory from the models listed work?

And finally,  the line junction on the differential, will that need to changed to handle the increased fluid volume?

Sorry for these prolly inane questions but I want to be fully informed before I get started.

12 bolt, astro rotors, d52 calipers. Or vette rotors, vette calipers on the same 12 bolt

I would get a Disc/disc MC and prop valve (Wilwoods has a nice adjustable)
nothing needs to be done on the brake pedal...

I have the parts for this also.
