Are these rivets holding anything on the inside of the frame, like the motor mount brackets???

I think the haunches for the motor mounts are secured at the top and bottom of the frame rails, so no I don't think they hold anything on the inside of the frame but I haven't gone out and looked at mine yet. Those are just the brackets for the bump-stops aren't they?
-
Yes the outside bracket is for the bump stop.

I just tore a 77 k10 apart yesterday, and if memory serves me right, there was nothing on the backside of those rivet's, but I can make sure in the morning when I get to work and report back.

if you do cut them off and find there is something else they are holding some bolts will work just fine

Beastie, just looked at my 77 k10, the bumpstop rivets do not hold anything but the bumpstop, they are behind the motor mount brackets, but are all by themselves. Hope this helps. Tom

Cool, thanks.
