Title: Leaf spring bushing sleeves
Post by: beastie_3 on February 10, 2011, 03:28:23 pm
I screwed myself and damaged a bushing sleeve. All I need is one. Know where to get one? Parts stores only have the $50 energy suspension bushing kits. I need it for the front of the front spring. I searched a few 4wd parts sites, no luck.

Thanks. What I need is just the metal sleeve that surrounds the bolt, like in this pic. I need a 9/16 ID

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SLF-316/?rtype=10 The pic is just for example.

Guess I could call superlift and see if they can send me one. Im sure Id have to order it regardless.

AHH, have you check with a local tubing or steel supplier?  I would call superlift and see if they could send you one.

Thanks all. I got it to work eventually. The width on the hanger was too narrow and I didnt realize it. I was trying to get it all to fit then gave up. Saw I bent the crap out of the sleeve.

Your local 4wd shop would have them. Looks like you made it work though.
