Title: 1975 c-10 suspension option
Post by: Slooby on February 10, 2011, 05:46:51 pm
I've been debating on how I should do the suspension, I want a good solid street/strip truck.  Just wondering if a 4 link with a bag set up would hold up on a drag strip or should I go with a spring set up, kp components offers a bolt in 4 link and bolt in dropped crossmember system for the c-10.  Just wondering if the setup will work.  I plan to redue the whole truck, instead of running a 350 to start out just decided to do everything at once on the same build and just setup for a lsx.  Any info would be helpful thanks.

More people at the track are going to know about sprung 4 links.  With that said, the KP stuff is setup as a suspension, not a drag suspension.
In the end either will work...

Just as a side note, KP doesn't make the bolt in Dropmember, the source it from Porterbuilt and they know NOTHING about it....
