Hi guys, today I scored an 89 Jimmy core support with all the bezels, grille, lights, wiring, etc. for $100. Now I have a question about grilles. Is the core support the same between GMC and Chevy? Like could I swap in the grille stuff from the Chevy version of the same era? Ultimately I'd like to do it like the Chevy version with the chrome/billet grille above and below the silver bar with the bowtie logo, but I could also be happy with the chrome/billet GMC (without the logo). And does Captkaos sell grilles for those applications or no? If not, where can you recommend I get the stuff?

The core support will work for both.

What kind of grill are you looking for, factory replacement?

Something like this, or the Chevy equivalent:

You need all of it or just the center section. I can get it, about $100 + shipping.

Just the center. What is involved in installing it? Does it require cutting my current grille? Out of curiosity, how much would it cost to convert to the Chevy version and make it look like this?
