Its nice to have the electric conversion kit, or maybe just return the 1405 and get the 1406.

i bought it on ebay from a private seller it may cause some problems if i did that plus i bought it for $150 :)) for a manual choke to work id have to purchase a cable for it?

Buy the electric choke kit

The kit is about $50 and that will still keep your investment way below what the carb goes for retail.

you should sell the Edelbrock and buy a demon 625. its runs a lot better them Edelbrock carbs do. its what i use, and ive ran Edelbrock.
