Hello everyone! First I want to say this is a great fourm with a lot of great info. I'm the new owner of a 1986 chevy silverado swb, I have wanted this body style truck since I was in high school but have never been able to pick one up. I've owned a lot of great car/trucks -94 chevy s10 SS, 3 fox body 5.0 mustangs, 2 lt1 camaros and even a few import mini trucks but This 86 chevy has to be one of the best trucks I've ever had! This trucks sell very high in my area in any shape, so after looking at some real rats I found this truck for the amount of money I had.

It's a 1986 silverado. The motor was swaped for a 1962 327 and a 350 turbo trans. The motor has cam, edelbrock intake/carb, camel hump heads, headers, electric fan and a few other odds and ends.

 The body is in good shape no dents or rust but has a crap paint job. It looks to have a 3/5 drop but there are some issues with the rear that I will post about in the right section. Overall I'm in love with the truck! I can't wait to start making it into the truck of my dreams!
