Well, I'm back on the case, body work coming along nicely albiet slowly :) and decided to get some parts ready so I'm not delayed when I'm ready to go.
Total parts ordered $350
Total shipping costs $380
Now that just doesn't make sense and I've still got to pay tax when they arrive!!

BRUTAL!!!!

My drivers bed side cost a little over $50 more to ship than the price of the part. With the price of gas these days I guess we won't see shipping costs decrease anytime soon. My advice, buy stock in shipping companies. I did... and it has tripled in the last 18 months :)

Hey you never added the import robbery charge to that...all the teeth in your mouth and the marrow from both legs will suffice to keep her majesty happy.. ;)

Sometimes it's actually cheaper to buy stuff over here, I found that with my repair panels. Could've got them cheap online but the shipping killed it. American Autoparts in Redhill were cheaper after I added everything up.

The guys in Redhill shipped in the hood, fenders, tailgate etc and they were cool.
I spoke to them about motor mounts and they didn't have a clue!!
A lot of the engine parts I'll get from Real Steel in Uxbridge :)

I'd let em have my Dad's, he'll just pop em out for her ;D

What are those second hand doors you picked up like??? Can't wait to replace all the front end on mine. Still debating whether to put the '89 front end I have on or leave the '87 quad light setup on there... Hmmmm

the doors are ok isk but far better than what was on there! I should've got the four off ebay last year ::)
there is two bloody great holes where speakers were that need attention but on the plus side the opening vents & handles are good!
