I have a crazy sqealing sound I think it may be a belt under the hood when i first start it up, any way to fix this.
-
Tighten up the belts, and make sure they don't have any kind of oil on them.
-
If they look glazed, replace them. Make sure your pulleys are aligned too.
-
As belts wear down, the rubber compound breaks down causing more friction, hence causing more heat, then the belts to stretch. I run across this on a daily basis. tightening the belts may work, but I would just replace them, you will pretty soon anyway.

get a spray bottle with some water in it. Spray one belt at a time with a little water and find out which one is the culprit. Dont use any kind of lube. The water wont hurt anything.

If you can hear squealing, you need louder exhaust.
-
dont think so on the exhaust... running headers and 2.5 pipes into Vortec mufflers and 3" tails out the side

Mufflers that’s the problem. But IV had my alt belt tight as I thought it would go it would squeak. Had to use more force to make it tighter then the squeak went away
