Post by: mrnda on March 07, 2011, 11:18:54 am
So i am looking into picking up an 80 something crew cab and was wondering  about interior and door stuff is the same as suburbans.  I assume they are the same.

Doors are the same.  The rear trim isn't.  Rear seat is the same as the front of a pickup.
Title: add a second gas tank?

looking at an early 80s crew cab buy.  It only has one side tank and was wondering how difficult it would be to add a second.  I have an 85 parts truck set up with two tanks and all the working hardware, bed is in good shape too- new fuel port requires fuel port door.  has anyone done this and what might i be in for?

Rear of the crew is the same as a pickup.  Headlined is specific to the crew.

Is the donor a long or short bed?  Either way having a donor will help.
