the AR outlaws i was going to get fell through. i was going to get 4 for 300! i dont feel like paying 119$+ for them!
looking around online im not seeing really good deals, and i dont seem to remember boring rims like these (not chromed out DUB spinnerz with fake diamonds all over them) costing this much.
-
Look local, some tire shops also do rims, they can probably get you a decent price and the usually don't charge shipping.
-
X2
See if you can swing a deal to have them swap and balance the tires for you too.
-
a lot of the local stuff is garbage for some reason...
for example: http://swangcity.com/index.php

i wouldnt mind some cheap cragars like these... and these seem like decent prices.

im gonna do the cragar chrome quick trick cheapies, that way i can afford nicer tires! no one local could beat summit's price so i'll go that route.
anyone suggest a good tire for a 15x7? i want short wide tires with deep tread.
-
I would go at least a 15x8 rim
Here is what I have and I love them-less than 500 shipped to my garage.

My tire size is 275/60/15
dig up a photo of my truck if you want to see them installed.

I am also running 15x8s. The rear tires are 275 60 and the fronts are 235 70

i've got a secret love affair with the black cragar soft 8's, chrome center caps and all. and they're cheap enough that even a 17 with a decent tire is still a pretty good price. Id put some crazy spiked lug nut on them - there and rock em.

I would love to have a set of those poke spokes(what we call them in FL) on my buick century, but not on the chevy truck.
-
My truck already has so much black on it, I think black rims would look weird. But that is a good price!

If you have any plans of possibly going with bigger brakes in the future, I'd get something around a 17" wheel and tire, I know summit has the Cragar SS in 17X9, they look great imo
