just wondering if you guys know of any good places to order crimps and connectors , etc. online or stores that carry them to build your own wiring harness and custom electrical wiring. switches, shrinkwrap tubing, junction boxes, etc.
thanks

I always hunt around ebay for that stuff. Just remember the more of an item you buy at once the cheaper it is.

Mouser has almost everything known to man, but is a little light in the automotive connector department. mpja.com is like a overstock clearance type place with some good deals, but not much selection.

Maybe that Acme place that Wile E. Coyote always got his stuff from? Their selection looks incredible!

But seriously, locally I usually go to Radio Shack, because it's about five blocks from my house. About 15 miles away is a place called Norvac Electronics. (1545 Commercial NE, Salem, OR, 97301. If you happen to live in Oregon.) Norvac is the sort of place that supplies parts for businesses that build, repair or maintain anything electrical. It's pretty much a grey, drab warehouse, rather than a carpeted, colorful showroom. Retail customers are definitely not their bread and butter.

I agree with Vile I use terminalsupplyco.com.
