I have an 80 c10 silverado 350 sbc and th350 trans. last night it was finally comforatable outside to work on stuff, so i took the distributor capp off to change the oil sensor and broke the angle fitting off in the block. it broke off flush with the block. do any of you guys have a quick and easy fix?????? >:(

The fittings are hollow so an ez out might work.
-
I had the same situation a couple weeks ago on mine. Get a good bite with an ez out and it should turn right out.
-
They also make pipe nipple extractors. should be able to find them at local piping places or tool shop.

a budy of mine that works at john deere has a set of them im going to borrow tomorrow. Im hoping this is will not turn into anything major. ::)

I wanted to ask if you were successful in removing your broken fitting, and find out how you did it.

OK update, been busy lately! got the broken fitting out with the easy out no problem. went to oreilys to get a new one and they gave me the wrong fitting for 5 buck, so i just re-threaded the bottom of the broken fitting and put it all back together sunday night, dumped some gas in it and fired right off with 30 lbs at idle and 60 at rev. I think that it is ok. I also put a new coil cap and rotor on it. runs way better! ;D ;D

are those pressures with a cold or warm engine?

cold, hadn't started it for over 3 weeks. still runs rough, but is better.
