I want to take my mirrors off and use peep mirrors. The ones I found do not seem to angle enough to actually see behind me. Has anyone else tried these??thanks

I knew they made peep cars but not mirrors!

Oh my God I hate it. I don't know what a peep mirror is but I've got a cheapy clamp on mirror on my upper door frame, above the triangle window. That and a wide rear view is all I need.

Yeah, they are called peeps, and I've seen 'um on trucks and even thought about it on mine. But my eyes have gotten bad enough that the small image is not enough to make me happy.
Possibly you could bend the arm enough to get the mirror to work how you would like? I dunno, just a thought.

I've tried one before; the frame for the vent window is in the way if your put them on the front edge and on top the angle is weird. I found them pretty useless except to maybe meet a legal requirement. I also thought they looked kind of small on such a large truck.

i found extenders for the peep mirrors that i think will correct that weird angle problem. i am gonna see how they look and if they look bad pull them off after i get my inspection sticker.
