I got a quick question I'm hoping some one can answer.  I'm just finishing my cummins conversion on my 84 crew cab and I'm down to my ac compressor.  I need to know what the two light green wires and one dark green wire are in reference to which one are the negative and which one is the positive on the ac plug that goes to the ac compressor so I can match it up the 7804 sanden ac compressor I'm using.  It has one positive and two negatives wires.  Thanks

there is a wiring diagram in the technical section

ya looked there.  Nothing listed for the a/c that I could see

On my 78 you only use the dark green wire.  the two light green wires are there at the plug at the firewall, but thats where they end.

Dark green is compressor on signal.  the negative wire on the compressors connector just goes to a bracket bolt nearby.

Both dark and light green wires ARE + in either case.

Run the dark green to the sanden's + terminal, and ground the two negatives to the engine somewhere close, as long as the sanden instructions don't say something different.

Thank you very much 78 Chevyrado,  I just got back from several salvage yards trying to figure this out.  I found exactly what you described to me.  I just wasn't sure if the light green wires were inportant for the operation of the ac because none of the vehicals I found were operable. So thanks again.  When get this completed I will post picks of this 4 year project if I can figure how to.

I believe the other green went to the idle compensator.
