Title: A few rally wheel questions..
Post by: jesse977 on April 05, 2011, 04:40:50 pm
Hello guys Im going to the Pomona Swap Meet and Auto Show in a few weeks (Im SOOO excited!!) I want to buy some rally rims for my 74 swb GMC with a 3-4 inch drop up front and a 4-5 inch drop in the back. Im currently running outlaw I rims. 15x8 in the front with 265's (they rub just a tiny bit) and 15x10 in the back with 295's (no rubbing) BF Goodrich rubber all around. I want to get some rally rims but still be able to use my old tires since they are still in excellent condition. I have a few questions. DO they make a 15x10 inch rally rim? Whats the backspacing for a 15x8 inch rim?  I just dont want the tires to rub in the front. One last thing do they make any center caps that say "GMC" and that dont have the chevy logo on them? Thanks guys any help is greatly appreciated.

Wheel Vintiques makes a 15X10 rally wheel.  I had them on the rear of my truck for a few years.  I'm not sure on the backspacing for the 15X8 rally wheels.  I'll go try to find one to measure for you.

BS is 4.5 inches on all factory rally wheels(15x6-8), the 15x10 rallys Ive seen in 4.5 and 5.5 BS.

Factory backspacing on all wheels are 4" not 4.5".
