Post by: lockey on April 10, 2011, 10:28:52 am
Yes could someone tell me what part #15571653 and part #15571654 fit. Would like to know if they fit 77 GMC  pickup.

Yes these are the numbers on the GM box and the tag number on the bare door itself. The person with them says he thinks they are for a 73 -87 chevy or gmc pickup.

Doors are interchangeable from 73 to 87, with some small cosmetic differences, but you said they were just shells so they should be fine.

There is a bit more to it than cosmetic differences. Will they all physically bolt in place? Yes, they will. Can you use a 73-76 door on a 77 or newer? Yes and No. They have a completely different inner skin. The door panels are totally different, and OEM power windows will not fit in the early doors.
