what would have to be done for the 76 grille to work in the 81 clip. i just like the way the 76 grille looks. thanks for the answers.

Keep the 76 nose on it.

Yep, Viles got it. For direct bolt on you'll need the whole front clip -- older style hood, core support, fenders, wiper assm., and the 81 bumper may not work with older style fenders.
Not sure what we're voting on though. ???

the fenders on the 76 are completely rusted thats why im changing the front clip, just wanted to keep the 76 grille. Thanks for the answers

You can buy aftermarket fenders for the 76 nose for about $75 each.

They're so different in size and shape that what you want to do would take way more sheet metal work than just fixing the 76 front clip.
