Title: Brakes....
Post by: zslates on April 22, 2011, 07:55:56 pm
I replaced my master cylinder and my brake booster. Bench Bled the master.  When i half way depress the peddle its super easy and i can see brake fluid (cap is off) squirting like a fountain out of the largest reservoir.  After that it gets harder, but only will travel about 1-2 inches

This doesn't seem right.  Any thoughts?

Bleed your brakes; you have air in the lines somewhere.

Start with the fartest away from the master first and bleed all four wheels brakes.

Yup, Bleed 'em.
After you replace the Master you have air in the lines where the brake lines connect to the master.  You have to bleed it all the way through the lines....
