79 k10 10 bolt front axle
The axle has the premium manual warn hub conversion. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/WRN-20990/ My hubs have the yellow face, not black. It is my understanding that stock auto hubs don't have the 3 piece spindle nuts and middle washer. Warn sells a spindle nut conversion kit. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/WRN-32720/ Do I need to buy their kit when replacing them, or can I get it at the part store? I looked it up, and Doorman makes something, but I dunno if I trust Doorman because when I hear Doorman, I think "cheap." The reason I want to get new parts is because the little pin is gone off the inner nut.
So should I:
Buy the Warn parts?
Buy the Doorman parts?
Look for something else?

I could just drop one in an envelope and mail it to you. You just need the flat piece with the tiny roll pin in it?
I looked at the conversion kit because I plan to put lockouts on my 88 10 bolt with the auto's, and if I remember correctly the kit is just the spindle nuts and they want like $40 for them. I have some spares, let me know.

When I rebuilt my passenger side (everything: bearings, seals, races, etc) that is when I noticed the pin gone (and I put it back like that. ya ya, i know). I need to rebuild my driver side because the tire wiggles 12-6 o'clock. So, Id rather replace all 6 pieces at once.

Plus, Id like it "now" because if I dont do it today, it could be another week or so until I have time to do it.

I think you could drive a small rollpin in it and it would work, as long as part of the old one isn't in the way.
Otherwise, it looks like that kit would have what you need.

So I bought one set today (3 pieces for one side) because that is all the parts store had and it came out to half the cost of the warn kit. I was hoping it was going to be cheaper. I think Ill inspect the washer and outer nut when I take it all apart and inspect them. Maybe I wont need the washer and outer nut after all and save some $.

Just saved myself $40! Found it cheaper, sweet. http://www.4wheelparts.com/Drivetrain-and-Differentials/Dana-Spindle-Nut-Kit.aspx?t_c=12&t_s=237&t_pt=5333&t_pl=102633&t_pn=D%2fS28068X

You can also get the hole kit through 4wheel parts. Just look under drivetrain/axle then components and scroll down and you will see where it says spindle nuts. I just order all three parts in a kit for both sides and only paid 24.00. For future reference
