I thought the vacuum line to the temp sensor on the air cleaner was where it hooked up.
However looking at vacuum diagrams I cannot find it, and I think it tees off a line running to the carb, unless I'm missing a switch somewhere.

It is for the lock-up torque converter on your automatic transmission

Do you know if it ties to air cleaner or carb?

Looks like a switch for an ESC controlled distributor to me. What year is this for? It'll tie to the manifold vacuum port either on the carb or intake.

Look at this schematic. See the tip in vac switch? Provide more information on your truck please.

Sorry- should put it in my sig.
