87 Chevrolet 1/2 ton truck Switched from the step bumper to a chrome bumper that has the 2 small deflectors on the bumper brackets, one each side. Had to cut off the 4 phillips pan head screws/bolts that held them on. Where do I find replacements for them?

I'm not really sure what you are looking for? Are you talking about the standard chrome bumper bolts or the ones for the license plate bracket? They're chrome capped carriage bolts. Pretty much all of the restoration catalogs have them if that's what you're looking for.

Thanks for asking. What I am looking for is the four bolts that have a phillips head to them that hold two pcs to the bumper brackets, left and right side, and they have a washer and nut. These pcs goes between the bumper and the bed, sort of a filler panel but they are short and do not go all the way across. The right name for them may be a deflector but I call them a filler.

Vile, He's talking about the filler panels between the rear bed sill & the "Blazer/Suburban" bumper. I know they had them on stepsides. I'd guess any truck that had that bumper would have them (instead of the plastic Blazer/Suburban piece).
I'm thinking they are regular sheetmetal screws going into fold-over clips on the bumper brackets...seems to me they have a plastic washer to keep from gouging the paint.
Like mine, but the factory 2 piece deal.
I would look at a bodyshop supply store, hardware store, ect. should be able to come up with something. Lorne

Getting closer but no cigar yet! It has a phillips head but it's a bolt, it takes a washer and a nut. The old ones were cut off because of the rust and got thrown away. Now that it's time to put it back together I can't find them at any of the local stores. I'm not even sure what size they were. I can look at the bolt hole and guess at it.

"You know who" has them part # 30-0534 SCREW-PAN HEAD PHILLIPS A/R otherwise I have no idea where you can get them.

He only has 3 posts...new to the game so he probably doesn't "know who", maybe send him a PM? Lorne

I am pretty sure it is a 1/4-20 with a #3 Phillips screw head. Star washers built on the nuts if I remember correctly.

Thanks guys, since I don't know who "you know who" is I think that I have found what I need. I went online to Fastenal and found some pan head phillips screws that looks like they will take a nut like a bolt does. I was thinking since it was a screw that it would not but it does. Thanks again
