when i start my truck, it cranks forever before it finally catches. i checked the choke and it is closing at cold conditions. but the problem is that it does it everytime. cold or hot. plus i always have to give ift fuel. the plugs are in great shape, the carb has been adjusted, nothing seems to help. PLEASE HELP!!

seems like there is a leak in the fuel system somewhere. and it’s letting the fuel drain back to the tank then you have to re-prime it to get the fuel back to the carb. do you have a clear fuel filter on it?

Take off you air cleaner and have some one crank while you look in the throat of the carb. (carefully) to see if it is squirting fuel as soon as it cranks and report back.

You can also dribble some gas down the carb before you set the choke before you start it. Both my 85C10 and 85C20 do the same thing after they sit a couple of days.

Advance your timing a little bit and see if it helps.
