Title: SOOOO Good to be back!
Post by: 1979C20 on May 24, 2011, 01:01:33 pm: Okay Chevy-ers. I was recently banned for a racist remark. And I talked to Chris through email and He is allowing me one more chance on the forum, which I am very grateful for by the way. So I wanted to apologize for my previously mentioned remark and apologize to anyone who may have been offended. I love the forum and the community here. So I'm not going to throw it away again. Thanks again Chris.

One of the great things about forums like this is that it brings people together across a lot of different walks of life, and unites them over a common interest, while broadening our perspectives. So, hopefully you learned something from the experience (as we all should every day) and have come out a better person.

Im not saying its ok to violate the site rules, which were agreed upon signing up, or taking a poke at the site owners or moderators, Im just saying that people get a few chances which I think is good (unlike the justice system, but thats a different topic), unless its real bad.

Well, thats what chris was saying, that i would have had a few day ban on the first offense and a pm from a mod. But i hadnt got any warning. I tried to open the forum one day and it said i was vanned because remarks arent allowed, so i cleared my cookies and logged in as a guest to see why i was banned and it was on my projector headlight topic and it said dont be surprised if you get banned when youve been warned previously. But i honestly dont recall any warning. But whats done is done. Im just grateful to be back.
