This is my buddy and fellow Chevy truck / Blazer freak Kenny's head stone. You guys might remember I mentioned two plus years ago he had passed away from brain stem cancer, 40 years old.
He was a Chevy man to the core, except his love for Fox platform mustangs!
I used to tell him. " EH everyone has at least one bad habit! "

That is his last Blazer on the stone. Pic was taken on one of our wheeling escapades.
Oh and he liked Crown Royal. thats why the nip bottle on the base of the stone.
You all would have liked him. I can't name one person that didn't. he was a great guy, and even though he never had kids of his own he was an awesome step dad to a very special little girl, now a young woman. he was also "dad" to a couple generations of people 10 to 20 years younger than us. They all called him "dad" he was the older guy that was cool, but would also look out for the younger crowd so they had a good time, but also didn't get to stupid! It was only a few days after his funeral allot of them started calling me "Uncle H" as he and I were good friends

I remember your post at the time of his death.
That nip brings back fond memories.
My 2000 crew cab 2500 came from a friend who passed away.
I left a nip in it to remember the good time we had.

I'd sure like to know why the best have to leave and some worthless turds get to stay? Seems like some the greatest guys in the world have something happen that's out of their control but the people that contibute absolutely nothing to society live long healthy lives.

The good ones leave because they have fullfilled their obligation to this world, the idiots get to stay because they need more chances to make something of thier lives, and then some lucky one's contribute and get to stay to help those who can't or wont contribute.

The best have a purpose elsewhere.
