has anyone built a 383 with vortec heads ......ifso what length push rods did u use ....stock or ?..............my cam is 268 ad dur 215 /490 lift custom grind ..................i know i need hardened rods for the guide plates ..5/16 ..........also using 1.5 3/8 roller rockers

depending on the milling of heads and block, you'll prolly need to check with a pushrod length checker.
I'm running a flat tappet cam with a slightly decked block and vortecs that are milled to a TRUE 64cc, and the checker told me to use stock pushrods, which I did.
