Mater has got some work to go, but we all are havin' fun. My son [14] is learning much about basic auto mechanics-I'm having one of the best times of my life with him and this old truck. We figured out how to tighten up the latch on the glove box... it popped out in 'two' pieces... after a little 'reverse' engineering, we find that it is actually 3 pieces- tightened it up-got out the pocket knife to push in the tab on the knob shaft- bam! May seem 'sophomoric' to you pro's out there, but fixing this box without breakin' it was a win! PK

Sounds like a blast. I'm hoping my daughter does well in school next year, cuz if she does, I'll be hunting a car or truck for us to fix that will be hers. I can't wait!
