What is the best way to remove a rear slider? Do you need special tools?   Thanks chris

It gets pushed out from the inside. Go easy and a little at a time. Fold the outer edge of the gasket so you can get it past the pinch weld.

I'd pull the gasket back a bit and lube things up with some spray window cleaner too. Just dont use anything petrolium based or you'll swell your rubber up.

If the rubber is rock hard and old your best bet is to buy a new seal and slice the old gasket, then push the window out. If the gasket is still in good shape, soapy water and a thin piece of roap or coated wire to work the assembly outward from the window frame.
