My booster is shot on my 76.
I want to use a newer model master made from aluminum and plastic. (I can't stand looking at the rusty master anymore)
My 79 truck had an 85 booster and master cylinder along with the 79 discs and drums and it would stop on a dime. I changed the cab and left the booster and master on it when I swapped.
Question is will these two items fit up to my 76 brake pedal and firewall no problem?
Also, I see two options for the VIN code I had for the cab. JB3 and JB5.
I want to use parts that will put me thru the windshield as soon as I tap the brakes. :o

I recently installed a booster and master from an '85, onto my '80, no problems. Great upgrade cosmeticly but no real noticable feel from the differant parts.

Parts to put you through the windshield? 6 Piston Calipers will definetly help, booster and master cylinder I don't think will have that effect as stated.

Parts to put you through the windshield?
Just a figure of speech.
When I mixed the parts up on my 79, there was a huge difference.
Maybe it was so noticable because my old parts were tired and ineffective.
Anyone know about the JB3 and JB5?
I imagine there are difeerent sized internals on masters that would apply more juice.
