Did a quick search and couldn't filter out what I was looking for.......So maybe someone can help. I got a set of new old stock doors and painted them and put them on the truck. Not its time for the internals......does anybody have any advice as to the order to install everything?
I was thinking the order is as follows but I could be wrong.
1. Door Lock and latch Mechanism
2. Wing window and frame
3. Seals
4. glass and regulator
5. Wiring for electric locks
Also was considering new seals which I know is never a bad idea, but also the budget for this project has gone wayyy overbaord and running tight on funds now just to get it driveable. Hoping the old ones are still decently usable.

That about the order I would do it. But leave the bottom rear window track bolt out until you have the glass, and regulator positioned.

I've installed the windows with the vent window in, where you have to turn the window and then get the regulator wheels into the slot in the window. If the vent window is already out it is sooooo much easier to put the regulator in and run it all the way up. Then you just slide the window onto the rollers and its in. There is a youtube video that shows doing it this way from a bare door. Search 73-87 door weatherstrip or something like that.

Good stuff.....thats what I was hoping for, thanks. I am sure if I messed around enough I would have eventually got everything in there. But since the doors are all painted, I would rather have a plan of attack and try to avoid taking things in and out any more than I have too. I will go check out the video.
