??? Can anyone tell me a trick or two on how to get the bushing out of my a-arms, besides taking them to somebodys shop
-
burn them out

I just did this 2 weeks ago. I tried pulley pullers, I tried a hammer, then I tried burning them out. They were off the truck so I just poured gas on the bushings and lit them up. I threw on some cardboard to keep the fire going until they were melted enough to smack out.

yeah the rubber will drip and make a mess so do it smart and not over a wood floor or anything that will be damaged or catch

A local front end shop charged me $20 an a-arm to remove and install my new ones. Unless you have a press, beating the old ones out and beating the new ones in is not fun and you can damage the a-arm. In my opinion it's worth the money to have someone do it.

I torched out the rubber then used an air hammer to know out the sleeves, quick and easy....but messy. get a ball joint press and an impact to put them in. easy as pie!
