Title: TH350 to 700R4
Post by: pedigo78 on June 07, 2011, 07:07:24 pm
So I have a Th350 with a NP205. I am wanting to get a Monster 700R4 but I am wondering if I will have to get a different adaptor to mount the transfer or is the mounting flang the same on both the TH350 and 700R4

You have two options.  You get a shortened output shaft for the trans or you run a spacer that takes up the extra length of the 700r4 output shaft. You will still use the T-case to trans adapter mount in either case.

since they are both 27 spline. but since a 205 never came with a 700 you would have to have a spacer you can get one from
A & Reds Transmission Parts
2501 E Truman Road
Kansas City, MO 64127
(816) 483-7337

The part # 7Q35A and it sells for around $50.00.

pull your existing tcase and adapter, trim about 1/8" off the end of the 700r4's output shaft and from there its all bolt-up.

cant rememebr where i found that at but there
