I spent a bit more money this time. My old 84 still gets the choice spot in the garage though... She will always be my favorite, but I just couldn't see keeping her going as a daily driver all summer so now she can sit in the garage and rest. Here's the new one. It has pretty much everything you can get on a truck.

No, I don't think so. I'm not exactly sure what XFE is. It isn't a flexfuel capable model, but it does have the cylinder deactivation feature so I got 22.4 mpg on the 200 mile trip home from the place we bought it, which considering it is a 5.3 I'm certainly not going to complain about mileage like that. I absolutely love it so far. By far the most comfortable truck I've ever been in. My 84 is so stiff that it was starting to hurt my neck with all the bouncing around. That doesn't seem to be a problem with the new one.

Xtra Fuel Efficient. They usually have a 308 gear ratio. Have a look at you build codes in the glove box, and then online.

i just want to know what brand, model and size tires an XFE truck has.

Nothing specific for the XFE package. They usually get Passenger tires, which have no business on a truck,IMHO!!

Like I said, I'm not sure if my truck has it or not, but it does have the cylinder deactivation so most of the time on the hwy it runs on 4 cyl. I drive like a grandma so I've been getting a little better than 22mpg with the A/C on. My tires are 275-55-20.
