I spent 2 weeks at Mountain Warfare Training Center, Bridgeport CA for our annual training exercise.

Yes it snows in California, and yes it snows in June...

Its only part time, Im a weekend warrior.

Thanks everyone, I really enjoy it and wish I could do it full time again, but I made a compromise with my better half.

I see you were in my neck of the woods. and thats Lucky boy pass that goes to Hawthorn. But Lazy is close enough.

Did you guys take the direct route towards Hawthorn or did you guys go through Bodie?

just stayed on Lucky Boy Pass. Only went to Hawthorne to refuel.
