Title: C-20 Rims/Caps
Post by: Darren C20 on July 30, 2002, 11:25:00 pm
I've got a 1976 C-20 that has 8 bolt wheels.  I'm wondering if the chrome centre caps used on the 80's-90's 3/4tons, and rear wheels of some dallies would bolt on.  I figured pick up 4 of those and the chrome rings for the outside and paint the rim the same colour of the truck should look sharp.  Thanks

Yes they will work, if your talking about the kind that are held on by plastic lug nut covers. You will have to look around for the ribht lug nuts because the stud tread on the newer trucks is metric and the older ones are standard thread. I ran the same set up on my old c-20, but I had the new style steel wheels (no bumps to hold hubcap on) the wheels were black and so was the truck . It realy looked good.
