I'm currently restoring a 1977 GMC C10. My dad bought it for me for 300 and we're restoring it hopefully for my 16th birthday. It came with a 350 in it and we just figured it would be a simple matter of rebuilding the engine, come to find out the entire block is cracked. so after going through a few more useless engines we just decided to fork out the money and get a custom built one. I have a brand new 350 with a mild cam in it that has been balanced to a tenth of a pound. we got that installed and it runs like a charm now its just onto the body work right now we're working on the cab, we tore everything out and are currently painting the inside of it then we need to install the carpet. after that everything should be done and its just a little Bondo here and a nice paint job.

Awesome start, welcome from NW Indiana. Hopefully you have a pretty clean truck to start with being in Utah. Most 77's around these parts are rust buckets or have been retired long ago.
